All About Me
I am Aimee Stranyak, founder of Leigh Ellen Flower Farm. My dream of being a flower farmer started shortly after I lost my Mom. She taught me that Earth creates, unattended and often unnoticed, such diverse blooms that are not only wonderful to behold, but are also hardy against most any adversity. It’s a lesson I’ve carried with me since, and when my mom passed away at only 57 in August of 2018 after a devastatingly short battle with cancer, in her memory I created Leigh Ellen’s Flower Farm— a cut-flower garden that combines each of our middle names as a testament that she instilled within me that same hardiness.
